New addition to the family

On 10/30/2009 at 2:13 pm we welcomed another member to the family. She plays so well with others and is just adorable! We have been expecting this for months and I have been trying to prepare Mrs. Schmitty. I think she was almost ready but you never really know what to expect until you bring one home. Anyway, we are both just happy to have a new PS3, and happy she is healthy. (my wife is going to kill me for writing this)

We also went to the doctor on Friday. The Mrs. is still not feeling exactly comfortable. She has a sizable cyst on her spleen that causes her constant discomfort. We are bot really sure what the next course as action will be as all the doctors seem to be puzzled. We will keep you updated.

On Halloween we were visited by Mike and Jessica and Benjamin. I went to go watch Mikey run the Monster Dash Half Marathon. Jessica was a race Marshall and I hung out with her grooving to Thriller while the runners blasted past in costumes. Mikey did well but lost the his chip from his shoe so he didn't get official results. There was also a guy playing the bagpipes on the course, how cool.

After the race we all went to Fabulous Fern's for lunch. I think everybody enjoyed it. None of us had been there and it was close, although it was almost vetoed for Thai food as soon as we got in the car.

After lunch Jessica's parents stopped by and dropped off Benjamin. He was all decked out as a robot, The Benjamin 2000!

After an afternoon of visiting they departed for Joe & Jen's Annual Halloween party. We were supposed to go out to a bar with friends to celebrate but, Mrs. Schmitty has been under the weather and I am turning into more of a hermit and misanthrope everyday. We ended up just staying home and handing out candy. Our friends Matt and Colleen came over and got schooled at Trivial Pursuit. When it comes to Trivial Pursuit I just rule.

As I wrap up this post I just want to remind you to root for the Phillies tonight vs the Yankees. The Yankees a bunch of prima donnas and I hate them. If they win (buy) the world series I might cry. Ok, probably not but,I will curse and throw things.
